VAD - 1958 S2 Diesel

Now that the stage 1 is getting near done, 2 1/2 years after
buying this from sixpot on here work finally started.
So far only to assess the condition of the chassis and decide on
repair vs replace (repair won)
As it arrived a few years ago

On dismantling, it turned out the chassis isnt as bad as I
thought, so rather than replace it will be repaired - but with
the repair bits modified to match the original spec

Bulkhead also much better than thought, the large plate patches
it turns out cover very small holes in the footwells.
shouldnt take much to fix that either

Only the bits that should be galvanised. Cappings etc

wouldn't be any point doing it if it was easy! that would be
boring.
although it looks a mess, apart from the technical issues of
rebuilding a2ltr diesel it will I think be easier than the stage
1 (and certainly my new S1)
