Been using a mac for ages now. MS files work fine on a mac, so
long as you have MSOffice for mac of course. Or just use google
docs, its free. Then there is Open Office, same again.
Word of warning though, macs do slow down, over time. Mine just
died after four years sterling service. The other half happened
to turn it on just as there was a power cut nearby. We had a
brown outage and it took the mainboard, hard drivr and ram out.
As the backup drive was plugged in and turned on that also
shuffled of its mortal coil. 36 hours of grey hair inducing
recovery software and I've got most of my work back, and she
isnt allowed to touch the new machine anymore.. :lousyputer:
