Brewery or Windmill weekend

Well we had a great weekend at North Leverton Windmill. lots of
old motors including some very nice steam powered cars and old
tractors.
We had a 2 fly pasts from the Vulcan on sat/sun and today the
Red Arrows came over aswell.
Well they have said next year if we want we can use the Windmill
and its land if we want a weekend there but what may appeal to
more people is that Spring head brewery were dong a small bar
with some very very nice ales.

And
the owner of the brewery and the wee pub attached to it also
said we could use the land at the side of the brewery for a
weekend event and they would open the pub and put food on for us
and do some special brewery tours if anyone wants to do that.
Please lets have some thoughts on the above and if there's
enough interest ill sort something.

Great organising Dave, and I would be interested in something
like that. I would have come along this year but it was Mrs
Strang's birthday.....

How was this weekend was hoping to come but priscilla had a
service and stu had to go back too blandford. I think it's a
great idea not too keen on the thought of camping on the
windmill site unless it's changed from last year as the were
just far too many cow pats for my liking!

they are not going to graze the field next year as they want to
encourage groups like ourselves to use it for meets and camping
and as such they already have a Capri camping weekend booked and
are looking to do more of the same so cow pats wont be a
problem. there wernt any this time round as the field had been
used for cropping.
