Hi all I have just picked up a very tidy low mileage s3 gearbox
which works like new even the gears are in the same postcode lol
my problem is it is from a 2.6 do I only have to change the bell
housing to a 4 cylinder one or is it more complicated fingers
crossed

Both are s3 gearboxes

I have done this, it is reasonably simple, but when you take the
bell houising off, you get some gearing type stuff with it and
it can be a bit fiddly getting it all back in and in the right
place.
Bit similar to putting back a ewe's bits after a prolapse. >vom<
