80" Summer Hols Snaps Part 2.

Just got back from a week beach bumming... ahem, in sunny
Norfolk. Swapping hiking boots for flip flops. We stayed at a
place that we have been to a few times before, on the dunes on
the north east coast. Its just a beech shack really, basic but
nice, just the way we like it. Plenty of wildlife in and around
the place including seals on the beach which is 1 min walk just
over the dunes (Sea defence), Waxham hall is just across the
fields and was 17 miles from the sea in the Doomsday book! We
have had a busy week including boating on the Broards, crabbing
on the pier at Cromer, biking, riding steam trains and not to
mention playing on the almost deserted golden beach.
The Bus has been great again (full of sand now) although had a
bit of trouble which I first thought was quite bad but after a
call or two to FT and a visit from a mate (both Heros) of his it
turned out to be the turbo pipe deforming under pressure. It was
at the house and would not rev up (a problem because you need a
lot of power and 4WD to get over the shortish stretch of very
soft sand to get to the road!). Temporarily fixed with cable
ties I went to see a mate I met at Sea Palling garage who when
we were last time was just finishing off his Perky powered 80".
With some new bits of pipe, between us managed to make a much
       better job, cheers Ian.

Lot of WW2 furniture around, this was the closest building to
       our house.
