No peaks, no whistlers, no choppers. How very :gay: At least
there's a pair of tractors, even if they are of the foreign
variety so I'll probably still go on the 16th though.

The lack of wagons ::) sorry peaks should be seen as a
blessing, but yes the lack of whistlers and choppers is a little
disappointing. As I have not managed to get to any diesel events
this year so this one is a must.
Anyone else on here fancy faliling their tongs at this event?
The moves on the day will be strictly planned with the emphasis
being on avoiding poltroons and neds engines >Htlr<
It must be possible to get through the whole day without the
need to ride behind the duff or the collection of mechanical
maladies that is the Rat ;D not too sure Dave will agree with
this though :rolleye0012:

^^ All of these engines were commonly operated in pairs. It's
not too difficult to guess why :-?
1. Too weedy to hal a train of any size on their own :haha:
2. The second engines was required for when the inevitable
happened and Loco 1 failed :haha:
The good news is there are not too many around on the 16th

40 135 was meant be coming but cannot because it is bust

31 128 might be there also fingers crossed

Regardless of locomotive choice, hopefully it'll bring in some
money and save them from bankruptcy. I see the Battlefield Line
is also holding a gala, for the first time in years

Is the NYMR in difficulty? :o I thought they would be one of
the better off preserved lines?
