So long as the truck has made it back from eastern travels and
t'pit travels i'd like to make it to this too, last time was
excellent; my first ollr meet as well. The site has a perfect
'food hall' for wet/draughty nights and the price paid last time
was very reasonable.
Lucky to have two recovery trucks eh Carl?

As with most events where we have to pay up front for venues,
costs to individuals all depends on the numbers willing to tip
up. Price it too cheap and not get enough bods tip up and you
run the risk of being out of pocket, price it too high and you
run the risk of no one afording to tip up. A bit of a dilemma to
pitch it right.
I for one would be happy to pay £35 - £45 per vehicle (1 or
however many bods you can cram in!), which would include 1 days
access to the sand pit (use it or not),1 days laning and camping
for the weekend.
If at the end of the day it lots & lots of luvverly OLLR
forumers tip up and it turns a profit then it goes to OLLR to
fund other events/projects.

Extracts stolen from FT’s thread from 2010, cost for the weekend
will include 2 nights camping with toilets and showers, baked
spudz n stuff Friday night then full OLLR BBQ on Saturday
night.

We’d have the entire off road course to ourselves for one day.
- Extensive off road course.
- On site camping with hot showers and toilets.

- Large campfire.
Cost is for 1 leaf sprung land rover (with one exception Icey)
with two adults for two nights camping including BBQ and off
road course access.
For those wishing to bring kids / extra persons, extra BBQ
vouchers will be available and extra camping pitches will incur
as small extra charge.

We have been offered a tractor rear wheel rim to have a burn up
in, so that should satisfy any pyromaniacs amongst us........
Wood donations welcome

A deposit will be needed to secure your place at what is
promising to be a fun weekend.
Any profit to go to OLLR funds.

So costs, provisionally until we have a better of an idea of
numbers bearing in mind it was £40 per vehicle two years ago,
costs based upon a minimum of 15 vehicles £45 per vehicle.
Date TBC but probably early July

So who’s still interested?
HHH

Im interested, went in sept with a few others and was very
dissapointed at the track, but would still go just to catch up
with faces and a bit of local laning, camping and burning
stuff,,,,etc.

Mixed feelings on this one - I love playing offroad, BUT
Sibbertoft mud does proper wreck stuff - IIRC I lost 3
wheelbearings in the the four weeks after the last sibbertoft
do...
