Heater

looking at improving my heater... then found this. Looks like it
may go in....somewhere! anyone tried one.

A new matrix has made mine toasty hot, I don't know what the Kw
would be though.

Fitted one of these last winter after two leaking round smiths
heaters sprayed hot water on my leg.
Very good output.. I put it where the round heater was, left of
the tunnel, using the pipes already there. And the existing
wiring. Get the bulkhead fitting as well, 3/8" one side, 1/2"
the other, makes the fitting much easier.
The nozzles are bigger than the heater tubing, so you need to
bodge something.
It also takes a smiths heater front as well to look the part (to
the casual observer)
Belted out heat in the last cold weather, but heated screens
fitted this week so I can keep the flow into the cab now.

I meant 5/8" to 1/2", it holds the heater pipes either side of
the bulkhead, 1/2" to the heater, 5/8" to the engine, without it
you have to find a way of mating the two sizes. 3.5 KW is about
double the original, even with a new matrix.

which heater are you referring to?
