Breaks

I wonder if anyone can help???
I'm having trouble bleeding my breaks, I have 10" drums on the
back and 11" on the front with a servo fitted. I can bleed the
back so no bubbles come out but the front isn't having any of
it. The shoes need changing but still have some meat left on
could this be the problem? There is no feel in the pedal and
when it's pushed down there seems to be a couple bubbles showing
in the reservoir. Should I just keep trying to get rid of the
bubbles or is there some parts that I might need to change to
get feel back into the pedal???
Any advice would be great thanks!!!!

How recent are the flexi hoses? I've often found replacing
rubber hoses of unknown age to make a huge difference to the
brakes and how easy they were to bleed.

Rubber hoses were changed about 4 year ago but my s3 doesn't do
that many miles would they still be OK after this length of
time?

If they were new stock when fitted then 4 years shouldn't mean
they need replaced if they're quality items.
Mileage shouldn't really have an effect on the hoses, keeping
the fluid fresh would have more of an effect I think.

Firstly, it's 'brakes', not 'breaks'.
Secondly, in what order are you bleeding the drums? As, assuming
you have the correct tandem cylinder system with the servo, the
purge order is different to that of the single-line system,
where you do front L/R then rear L/R...a zig-zag from front
left. If you run this order with the tandem system you'll be
chasing bubbles for the rest of your days.
Correct order for the dual line is front right/rear left/front
left/rear right.
Don't use fluid which you've just bled out of the system as it's
full of air. And don't let the reservoir get low during the
process.
