       The Scottish Borders.
We found a great cottage 1000ft up half a mile from the nearest
people (Lady Polsworth the land owner :blahblah), up a dirt
track on the side of a hill out of sight. Stunning views for
miles, loads of wildlife, wood burner and real fire for the
chilly evenings and we were told we could walk wherever we
wanted to. The girls loved it. :smile1
Part 2 will hopefully be Norfolk in a few weeks.
Here are a few too many pics-

Magnificent photos as usual, looks like a great holiday! Love
the photo of the trailer contents and the magnetic letters on
the dash, typical holiday-with-kids stuff 8)

We took loads of anti-midge stuff with us but didn't use any of
it, I got bit twice, but that was when we were out on the bikes
in the day time. We saw a few but they were not a problem even
when sat out in the evening watching the bats, some trips to
Scotland have been a nightmare but the worst seems to be up the
       north west side.
