Opheers 2012 29th of June - 01th of July

Well as some of you know we're organising a Series meeting first
weekend of July in the tiny village of Opheers (45 miles east of
Brussels); here some pictures of last year...

So...only Stiggy & Gilbo...? Haven't spent much time onhere but
I'm very busy lately (and I'm not exactly used to so it's pretty
hard... ;D). Here's the list of whom would normally turn up; all

Yes Carl I will be there - will have a passenger too - this time
more my own age (well actually older!!). After we leave Opheers
we are off to Le Mans for the next weekend for the Classic. So
any recommendations of what to see/do between Opheers and Le
Mans??
Also will give James a kick (my co-pilot - and NOT my lover -
from last year!!!) as I am pretty sure he was planning the trip
but maybe that has changed as he enters domestic bliss! ;D

Hello Dave,
Not much on here lately but I'm very busy with a new project
(tell you all about very soon but still a secret...). Just drew
a line between Opheers & Le Mans and don't know what you like
but the beautiful town of Provins is just in the middle (if you
like old stones of course...). There will be a third 'roadbook'
(still need to prepare...) and for the moment bout 20 that will
surely turn up; some as early as Thursday-afternoon ( Wienun(D),
Irishrover(Wolfgang & Peer)(D)) but they all speak English.

Hey Carl
I don't post much on here either! Just had a look at Provins and
it looks fantastic, so thanks for that. Looks a very likely
stopover for our journey down to Le Mans (possibly via Reims
too). I have been to Carcassonne and Aiges Mortes (on the Med,
south of Nimes) so this looks to be similar.
We will be there Friday PM this year and stay over until Monday
if that is OK?
Must get hold of Weinum (Stefan) to see if he is bringing the
fridge which I offered some months back to bring back to the UK
for someone here!! Crazy!
hope the family is well
Looking forward to seeing you all (and of course going 'laning'
as we call it!...and maybe drinking a beer?????)

I'm Dave's 'Co-pilot'?! from last year!
I'll be coming along with my other half this year in HNJ. (Long
wheel base Series 2A)
Will be arriving in Convoy with Dave from the UK.

yes, Opheers is on my To Do List ;-)
But, until now im still a bit "out of money" so to say. And
Opheers is some 700 Km from Munich. So altogether some 1k miles
to do. Glp!
But, if i will make it there, i will bring the fridge with me,
no question.
If not, Carl, i saw that you wanted to join the SSWU in Germany,
right ? If so, could you pick up the fridge there and store it
till Opheers ? Its a small camper fridge, not bulky and not
heavy.
Will tell you both as soon as possible.

You had better start saving then - won't be the same in Opheers
without you!!
I think Paul (the guy in the UK who wants the fridge) will be in
touch with you. Either way if it gets to Opheers than I am happy
to bring it back to the UK (via the Le Mans Classic!)
