We're currently sat in the centre of Leeds with a sheared
       steering relay. :haha:

Yes. Just chilling in a taxi bay being heckled by taxi drivers
as apparently we shouldn't have left the house if it was going
to break. Also been stopped by someone asking if we were in the
1940s, I said no, just broken down.

Someone really needs to take them to court over sub standard
safety critical parts. That's the second one I've heard of
that's ushered and that's just on this forum.

Is it Britpart? I've a feeling that all the pattern relays I've
seen still in their boxes are Allmakes. I may be wrong, but I
       don't trust either of them...

Home now, will get pics etc in the morning. Few slight steering
movements before the final break the steering went very vague.
Just as I said I need to pull over and have a look, I failed to
straighten up after a bend and almost ended up on the offside
kerb where pedestrians were waiting to cross... (and a nicely
       placed open roadworks).
I will be sending them a letter with pictures and will pester
them. I am lucky that no one was hurt and it happened at low
speed. I drove all the way there along the M62 today at 65mph...
would probably be a different message here if it had given up
       then. Dangerous doesn't cover it.
Lucy, didn't you have one twist in a similar manner? I know Pete
Stevens-with-a-V had his shear off when joining a motorway slip
       road...

Carl (Bugeye),had an eighteen month old Shitpart one shear off
       in Sweden two years ago.

I thought it was goose that had one twist.
So that's 3 sheared and one yield.
Thinking about it, its more likely to go at low speeds as
there's more effort put in to steering. Unless you hit something
       at speed of course.

Get Trading Standards involved, Calum. It's about time this
mickey mouse outfit were reported to the authorities and they
either stopped trading or got their act together and stopped
       selling dangerous parts.
