I don't know what's gone on here and why the posts have been
erased but it's pretty pointless erasing posts, even if the
event is cancelled.
You tried and well done for having the arsedness - most don't.
IIRC your idea was to roam the Highlands of Scotland with a
bunch of leafers, which seems like a nice idea but it's bloody
miles away from civilisation and with a very high road/lanes
ratio With the cost of fuel being what it is there were never
going to be many takers from south of the border...
Another thing is you billed it as a family event, which, I'm
sure puts some off (imagining hordes of screaming kids ;D ).
OLLR events are not usually "family events" but that's not to
say that we are some kind of lads'drinking club, as I'm sure the
WAGS and kids who do come along will tell you. It's just that
the "Family Friendly" tag is something that a certain club uses
and it's never been out thing.
AND.. it clashed with LATP, which was bound to put off any who
have already been to and enjoyed t'pit.
But don't let it put you off and maybe you'll tip up to t'pit
this year instead?

Yeah Pat - sorry you have cancelled. I could not have made it
this year due to other commitments, but a new event is always
welcome. I have read about a 'whisky trail' before - might that
drum up more interest?
