So now i wander whats better, going closed loop with a simple
kit like the VIP100A or going LPG carb/BLOS.
Right now ive goto go adjust my powervalve again.....

Well Santa brought me a BLOS for Christmas, just waiting on some
clips and pipes to fit, cant wait to see the difference :smile1

I did rob, pretty happy with it had no problems so far, seemed
to make it slightly more responsive higher up the rev range
where I found the old mixer a bit restrictive compared to
petrol. Not earth shattering stuff but still happy with it

How have you 'fitted it in' photos ???? mine has the lambda
and stepper valve gubbins... bought another new Vap unit as
still having issues with it cutting out at idle still no better
so was wondering if going your route may help !

Sure I can upload some pictures over the next few days, pretty
simple I just cut into the air hose between the origional filter
and carb.
Hmm sounds like yours isnt getting gas on idle. First thing id
do is open the power valve a bit, but you dont have one as you
have the stepper, but should still be able to adjust (got a big
screw in with a spring?)
I think if I had the closed loop system like you I would keep
that rather than pay the extra £90+ to go blos.
Did you try (or anyone else) try adjusting the vaporiser before
you replaced it?

Hello Rob I had problems with mine were it struggled to idle on
lpg I got it on a fast idle whilst on petrol then switched it
over to lpg I then slowly adjusted the carb until it idled right
on lpg It now idles just a touch fast on petrol but ok on lpg

Aye.. everyone ant there 'Aunt' has had a play with it..
sometimes its 'just fine' then another it just stalls when at
idle on LPG .. it always does it if you 'blip the throttle'
however if you release the throttle verrrrrrry slowly you can
keep it running.. ive messed setting it up to 'fast idle' but
then when its running rightish its a verrrrry fast idle if you
get my drift. I run on LPG 99% of the time as its then
actually cheapish to use as a daily driver but it gets to be a
right PIA with the stalling issues *help*
