DVLA F**cking Morons

DVLA jobs worth morons! Will not accept the fact that I have
changed my engine from a petrol to a diesel. I've written to
them twice and they say I have to get a receipt from the person
who installed it (So that would be me then!):banghead or signed
letter from the AA or RAC. Tw*ts, why would I declare an engine
that I haven't got. :loser:

What you have to remember mate .....
IS that you are dealing with 'people' in Wales that are only
allowed soft crayons to fill in the tick boxes on their computer
screens ...
Reasoning and common sense is a foreign language and lost
concept to them,
Just do what we did ....fire up microsoft and envisage a garage
name with your mobile number on it and confirm what they want to
hear ...it's painless honest .
As long as they can crayon in the boxes on their screen then all
will be well and you'll get a log book through in a few weeks
...(And for free )
UNLIKE their fucking 5p ....5 fucking pence for a fucking
carrier bag to put stuff in that you have just bought in their

And after my still unsorted insurance woes, this thread is yet
another reason why I shall NOT be informing the DVLA of my gay
engine conversion. :wanker:

Don't get me started .....
There's CUNTS in Manchester too as i got a fekking ticket after
repairing the cocking aircon in Toni and fuckin Gay's hair
emporium yesterday ....
Cheeky cow issuing the fekker asked me IF i had been having my
hair cut ....
Do i look like i have my hair cut by anyone else but Nikki
clarke (well his clippers from Arsegos anyway)
Come the revolution ...... ;D ;D

You do not have to have a receipt if it's a classic vehicle, it
only applies to modern motors.

Was it an official ticket from a council bod? Just if it was
from a PPC i would do some research before paying up as they
have no legal weight to issue it, in most cases you can just
ignore them, give me a shout if you need to know more. :thumbs:

It's the same old thing honesty does not pay.
Could I be so rude :-\ to ask were you converting the engine
from an engine of true spirit on the path of righteousness (
petrol or Diesel 2 1/4, straight 6 or V6 petrol ) to an engine
of Freddie Mercury ie. ex gaymobile 200/ 300 TDI :bleurgh
because it could be intervention from God here trying to pull
you back on the path of righteousness ;-)

Simples. If you had a post-1972 utility or 12 seat Land Rover
and changed the fuel type from diesel to petrol you would evade
the London LEZ.
I did read somewhere the FBHVC were lobbying for the
documentation requirement to be dropped for vehicles in the
HISTORIC taxation class as pre-1973 vehicles are exempt from all
of these PC emissions schemes however I haven't seen the DVLA
have approved it. If it were me I'd send the DVLA one more
letter with a photo of the engine and engine number saying you
installed the engine yourself, it is their choice if they
correct the vehicle record however you will not enter into
further correspondence on the subject. They are useless cunts
the lot of 'em at Swansea.
