hello folks,,nightmare told me where you`d all moved to, cant
get away from me that easily,
a few minor details have changed,,, in a moment of shear madness
i sold "blue" my 88" series 3, the nice blue one with the yellow
wheels,,, im sure you will remember it at EOD 09 and at
sibbertoft,,the bloke i sold it to has totaly spoilt it with
loads of checkerplate and a finish of matt black,
so Gordon my 1959 series 2 with the V8 in has taken its place
full time ,,, but that, as we speak is undergoing a full (ish)
rebuild by my good friend nightmare at his workshop,, V8 coming
out and 200tdi in, bulkhead and footwell repairs at the same
time,,,,and a repair to the rear 1/4 panel sustained at the
heart of england 4x4 track with the bedworth berts 4x4 club,,
Looking forward to seeing you in the near future at various
events ,,,,,,pics to follow if pete gets them up for me ,,,

Hiya John, good to see you've found your way ;D
a few photos have been posted here, in the "drumming up
enthusiasm" thread

not touched it in a couple of days due to feeling rough again
:( but it's completely stripped from the bulkhead forwards now,
axle case and a couple of other bits are ready to be cleaned and
painted, diffs, springs and odds and sods now required

Aha Pete, I wondered which one you were stripping back, now all
is revealed.
Thought you'd bought something for breaking.
