Push bikes

My Chinese 'Ying Qi' bicycle, which I fetched home earlier this
year, had twisted forks and to rectify this, I bought a rather
fetching set of double crown forks on ye olde baye des fleases.
They arrived on Saturday and I had them swapped out that night,
in readiness for Sundays Sky Ride Manchester.
After a frustrating train ride from Todmorden, due to
'engineering work', I arrived at Victoria station, then headed
down Deansgate to Castlefield where I collected a bib and joined
the circuit. 3 x 15 Km laps was enough for me, but is was good
to be cycling in a city without all the killer hills I have at
home. Thousands of folk turned out, people of all ages and
backgrounds, it was well worth joining in. Here are a few snaps:

I'm really liking the new look the forks give to the bike, I may
even take it down the field for some 'testing' later.
According to the website, 21,000 attended the Sky Ride.

Nice
Worth putting some protection on the top tube with the tripple
clamps, if you manage to drop it the stanchions can swing around
and dint the top tube in the worst place possible writing the
frame off.
