Pioneer Gun Tractor (in the barn) and Recovery (in the field).
Yours truly stood in the under cab locker providing steering
assistance on the tight turn into the yard.
Certainly beat being sat in the office...

Fergie I think Alex, can't remember- nothing to do with us,
there's a fair few classic vehicles around the farm.
There's an immaculate late model Nuffield in one of the other
barns, and a very un immaculate early 60's one still in use on
the farm.

1944 Scammell Pioneer SV2/S recovery with lots of bits missing
and not running in the first photo. The other is a 1938
Scammell Pioneer R100 HAT (heavy artillery tractor) also missing
lots of bits but it does run and drive. Both have what is
probably the best diesel engine ever built - Gardner 6LW.
:giddy: Need to get the Unipower finished first and then we'll
start on the gun tractor. It's been a long hunt to find a gun
tractor but I finally have one, I think it's only been about 25
years........ ;D
