Who's been greenlaning today then? That second one is on the
lane near Winnats pass, past the old Eldon quarry if I'm not
       mistaken.
First one is just a storage tanker but the second one I don't
think started life as a tank at all. I reckon that's a
       Lancashire boiler.

looking at lead mining remains while walking the dogs ....

I thought the same too Dave. Good spot indeed! Wonder how that
       ended up there.

I found a nice pair on the edge of Kirton, Notts. somewhere
between the A1 and the Gadgets' house.
I think the first one is LNER and the second may be LMS

A couple in a yard in Ashbourne, they look pretty heavy duty, &
have been made into some sort of workshop/store.

Nice find, Kev. They're not just van bodies but still have the
frames - you can see the holes for the buffers in the headstocks
and the iron plates that surround the holes where the coupling
went through the headstock. Wooden frames too, which means
they're rather old. Probably Midland Railway, going by the
       location.

       spot of clay pigeon shooting)
