       Ex-Great Western or BR(W), that one ^^^
       I've got loads to post but haven't been arsed lately. However
       here's one that I saw today. It's not a van but is a rail tank
       from the 1920s. I spotted it in a haulier's yard at Hoyland,
       near Barnsley.
       How can I tell it's a former rail tank and not just a storage
       tank? The dome, with its filler lid is a dead giveaway and see
       the double rows of rivets (one just above the second brick
       support from right)? Well they're for baffle plates to prevent
       the contents sloshing around too much.

       It looks like it's been used as a diesel tank for refuelling
       wagons at one time.
