lwt chassis

is there anything to stop me putting a 1979 S3 body and running
gear onto a 1983 light weight chassis.

Only bulkhead outriggers that wouldnt line up isnt their?
Chassis rails are the same distance appart, rear crossmember is
a bit narrower, but afaik holes will still line up

It's possible to make one fit - IIRC RichP's IIA is on a chassis
that was 'NOS' for a lwt, but it's a bit of a pain to do.
Personally I think I'd hold out for a normal SIII chassis...
