Anyone recognise this powersteering relay?

Started work on recommissioning Scary Mary. Stripped the Relay
out and pulled the manked wing off. took this photo and wondered
if someone recognised the part? ???

Looks a little like the ZF setup that the Simbas had, but the
pictures I saw of one of them had a different mounting bracket.
Good find though!

It is a ZF box. I'll get the part numbers off it later today and
try googling them. ;-)

Can't help, but I can see the same artiste that painted my
replacement Marina engine was let out to paint your chassis
too...

Simbas were another RUC armoured Land Rover variant; came after
the Shorlands but before the current boingy ones. Wider axles
(still on leaves) and a ZF powersteering box replacing the
standard one. Not very common.

Didn't realise it was the racer I was looking a there. Quite a
common mod was to turn down a a range rover steering column and
mount a normal power steering box in place of the series box.
Normally need a reverser of some sort though.
