Breakdown cover

Break down cover
My breakdown policy is up for renewal, currently with RAC but
they're being wank, renewal is £95, if I was a new customer that
would be £75.
RAC have been alright when i've called them out, even to the
101, but if there's a cheeper alternative I'm all ears.
Car insurance is up at the moment too, threatened to move
insururs and they dropped the quote bu £160, why wont RAC match
the new member price, grrrrrrr.

How many callouts have you made in the last year? Mine went up
by about 50p a month 'cos I had them out four or five times...

No callouts made, The volvo has been reliable the 101 off the
raod and the 88 has her own cover with her insurance

Look at your bank account too many banks offer cover with your
account, usually just the basics but you my be able to upgrade,
its just something else to consider, lloyds and barcleys do it

My insurance for the 101 is unlimited European breakdown cover
for under £200 and they insure it aswell.

I noticed a couple of years that the RAC had pushed up the price
of my premium over that offered to new customers and they
knocked off a third right there and then with no argument at
all.

Do you shop at Tesco?
If so, buy your RAC cover using your Tesco Clubcard vouchers.
We buy joint RAC breakdown and recovery cover for about £40
worth of clubcard vouchers each year.

I,ve got a full relay and crash cover through my bank account to
I pay quite a bit for it.The first time I called them out they
didnt have a socket to fit 1"1/16th wheel nut took them two
hours to sort it out.
