LATE 2A 88 REBUILD

After being on here for a while now its about time i put some
pics up of my 88 rebuild up. After being warned about ebay i
went out and bought my landy... from ebay! Its a late 2a [ reg
december 1971] It had a years mot with no advisories and looked
ok,unfortunately it soon became clear the mot had been carried
out by stevie wonder, in a word it was a pup thud The chassis
had patches and holes everywhere in fact the only good bit was
the new dumbirons but they had only been fitted due to it being
involved in an accident, the bulkhead needed work and the
running gear needed a total rebuild. I also found that both
axles and the steering box had no oil in them! I should have
been scrapped but i decided to give it a new lease of life

It's good to see some pictures of your motor, top tip though is
copy and paste the img code and not the link code. The img code

I hate to be contentious(he lied) , seeing as I am a newby ,
BUT , some body said engines should always be PETROL ,this is
only true if talking about lawn mowers , chain saws or
motorcycles. NOT MUCH ELSE. Your choice of engine is beyond
critical comment, well done you. Nice work bud.

Nice work, :thumbs:
like the look of hot dipped with the black, a little to sort out
still, but on the engine front I must agree with Drew though
