1000 engine rally

This years 1000 engine rally is 23rd/24th June 2012 at Astle
park Chelford near Holmes Chapel.I will be there and Strang as
well .We usually have a good time be nice to see others there as
well.

Good if you have a wander round and see a short arse in a Austin
Champ its me!! :smile1.And you probably saw Mark at leafers at
the weekend .

I will be camping with the Land Rover lot under the trees at the
bottom of the parade ring - or in the beer tent! See you all

Will be there with the stationary engine lot, but when i get
bored of a flywheel going round and round and round and round,
ill be diving with the landrover lot ASAP, meeting a few folk
from the series 1 crowd.
should be in a leafer

I,m sat here at the moment waiting to see if we are still going
.The rain is horrendus and I,m expecting it to be cancelled.I
will wait as long as possible before a final decision ,but the
thought of driving down the M60 in a car with no doors pulling a
caravan is not appealing.

Lot their already set out, doubt they would cancel, may be muddy
underfoot. Stuff may be cheap if its not selling!

Okay I will wait till the decorators been have a word with my
neighbour see what we are doing ,I could do with a few bargains.

Went down last night to unload and catch up with folk, most
stationary engines out already and folk camping, few cars and
things turning up. expect Ques getting in field

Decorator turned up at 12.30pm.Hes going to be here for hours he
got to caulk the edges paint the ceiling and emulsion the walls
on decent sized kitchen.Had a word with my neighbour so we are
coming for the day tomorrow and hopefully going to Bury country
show on the Sunday.I reckon I can spend up in one day.
