Not really 'working' now, but Steptoe was well used by a scrap
metal dealer before I got him.
He's got a HD Ramsey winch on the front on a very HD bumper, a
swing-out lifting winch on the back and vacuum brake takeoff for
a heavy trailer.
Apparently the guy used the lift winch to lift his big plasma
cutter out of the back and would cut steel out of buildings
before they were demolished.
He'd then couple his big tipping trailer to the front bumper,
throw a strop around the scrap steel in the building and use the
front winch to drag the whole lot onto the trailer.
Then he'd couple the trailer to the back, and connect the vacuum
hose (fed from a chassis mounted vac tank from the engine vac
pump) to the servo-assisted brakes on the trailer!
This is all heresay, and no pics to prove it, but everything is
still fitted though I don't know what happened to the trailer.
Here's the rear lifting winch lifting a gearbox out of the back

That carawagon body wasn't at "come to good" just outside Truro
was it? If so it was the same guy I bought my 2B forward control
from. I had a look at the body while I was there but decided I
had just taken on enough work with the 2B! Looked like a nice
project though, with all the fixtures and fittings inside.
