Not that I am very often even close to contending but some folk
have got the right equipment etc to take some excellent shots so
is POM to be reinstated on this forum?

Not likely to either. Pink Spider hasn't even opened the two
PM's I sent her six months ago.

Definitely - have copied and pasted the months/winners below,
unfortunately some of the links are no longer active. Anyway,
would prefer the mods posting this in a sticky together with the
rules like on the old forum.
If needed, can volunteer to help out with the POM topic (haven't
won for some time, so ideal way to change this ;D).
The rules:
#1 - Entries must have been taken during the previous month,
i.e. July entries taken in June.
#2 - Must include a leaf-sprung Land Rover or part of and
absolutely no hint of boingerness.
#3 - Entries must be your own work (unless you're in the shot
too so have got someone else to take the pic).
#4 - Photos submitted can be no wider than 800 pixels and no
taller than 600 pixels. (obviously these figures are reversed if
taking a portrait style pic).
#5 - No more than two entries per-person, per-month.
Contravention of any or all of the above rules will result in
the offending photograph being erased.
The best of a month's submissions will be chosen by the forum
admin and reposted in a poll for the membership to vote. The
poll will run for 4 days.
In the event of a tie, the winner shall be chosen by the forum
admin.
Winning pics will be posted in this thread.

We haven't got a moderator for the section yet. None of us can
be arsed with it and Alys has registered but not posted or
replied to my PM yet.
I'll give it another couple of days and will deputise someone if
she doesn't want to do it again.
