Ah, so does the bar give any structural stability or is it
plainly for holding the seat backs up?

I'm going to go out and say it is purely for holding the seats
up.
AFAIK, the 'Mini-Carawagon' never had a bar across the back of
the seats, whereas the 'Safari' did. The only thing that I can
see for this reason is that behind the drivers seat on the
Mini-Carawagon were cupboards.
I've never seen one in the flesh, but I know that somebody on
the other forum seems to be spending a long time re-building
one.

I like the oil can holders; I'm surprised there's enough room to
bolt the puke tank to the side of them, but clearly there is.
The trucks' not bad either! ;D

Hmmm that brochure has given me an idea for sleeping
arrangements in my 109, if I ever get around to actually
starting work on it that is!

There's plenty of 109" converted campers as most of the
Carawagons and I think all of the Dormobiles were 109"s, so you
shouldn't be short of inspirational ideas.

I knew there would be space, however I didn't drill any holes to
fit until the oil can holders themselves were fitted.

Stu you are missing a trick here, there is obviously a niche
market out there for your oil can holders, you could set up a
production line in your garage, you have lots of Notts OLLR
labour and knock a few up in the evenings your not working.

Today, I am a well happy bunny, I took Mel for a romantic day
out at a breakers yard in Runcorn.
Well we drove over to Runcorn to have a look at a Carawagon in a
breakers, which TBH is way far too gone to be saved. However I
got these goodies:
Carawagon blinds, Including the door ones 8)

I'm [Mrs Gadget]Giddy as a Kipper[/Mrs Gadget] about these, as
if you've been following closely I'm missing the 2 side door and
the rear door blind, and these being original Carawagon blinds
(65 Vintage) well happy days. There are 2 side door ones, the
rest are out of the back load area, they are wider than I want
for the back door, however I'm sure I can sort something out.
I did resign myself to be never finding them hence why I bought
some kits off of Ebay.

Took these just because I could, shame there was only one front
seat, don't know what happened with the other.
Cubby box

Original Carawagon cubby box, shame tops missing, will have to
make something up to match but it will look right at home in the
motor.
Sink and stuff

Got a few other bits too, I'm absolutely ecstatic with just the
blinds and the badge, everything else was a bonus, shame about
the cabinets they were all buggered, however I did get the
worktop for a cunning plan that I have 8)

'tis indeedy dude, I'm a happy bunny indeed and well worth the
trip out, just wish I had gone before as he has had it for a
fair few months now, but I suppose it's all the stuff that I
have had going on as of late that I just haven' had time really.
