An afternoons work. I had hoped to finish in a day but typically
something has to go wrong, today it was my bonnet slam panel
snapping and needing welding :(

/>
Five awkward ally rivets sliced off the easy way since the front
panel is no longer required.

Old panel out surprisingly easy, I was expecting a fight with
the nuts and bolts but they came apart with out any dismantling
fluid.

New panel riveted and bolted, the top five rivets were just
reachable with the pop riveter.

The other side stripped of lamps and ready to be done tomorrow.

There's always something to bollocks up the end of a job, today
it's a lack of planing, no nuts and bolts to fix the indicator
and side lamps.
I've plenty of stainless screws but don't fancy encouraging more
white powder, and if I put them in as a temp fix ICBA will
prevail and they won't get swapped until they have corroded
themselves loose again :(

Having been inspired by 5998's progress with the Stage 1,
yesterday I got myself into gear and did some more on my
replacement tub.

I'm toying with cutting out the rot and replacing with an L
shaped bit from the edge from the old end panel.

Progress so far.

HTML http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww116/ashcroft752/DSCF1539.jpg[/img]
End pieces glued and riveted.

HTML http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww116/ashcroft752/DSCF1541.jpg[/img]
Front mounting points glued and riveted.
HTML http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww116/ashcroft752/DSCF1542.jpg[/img]
Floor glued and riveted, rivets are upside down and will be
drilled out and put in the right way once the glue has cured. It
proved to difficult to put them in the right way and keep the
floor tight in the joint.
Top hats and the other side of the front mounting point next.
