can't be arsed reposting everything from the old thread, so
you'll just have to look at the thousands of pictures of the
Logrover being built and then used here: www.log-rover.co.uk
  HTML http://www.log-rover.co.uk
but from now on, if i'm going to post pics of it being used,
       i'll do so in here:
sunny day today, so cut some logs with the tractor pto circular
       saw:

went out again this morning (this logging stuff is just our
saturday morning hobby), and then did some milling when i got
       home:
       uplifting a windblown beech:

  HTML http://www.log-rover.co.uk/Log%20Rover%20in%20use/slides/2012-05-19%20073.JPG[/img]
new brackets to turn logrover into a milling bench:

  HTML http://www.log-rover.co.uk/Log%20Rover%20in%20use/slides/2012-05-19%20105.JPG[/img]
milled various thicknesses - went of but used 3 tanks of fuel
and created loads of sawdust - and took hours

made these brackets last night for the hood-stick tubes - found
a length of halfshaft fits a treat ;D:

  HTML http://www.log-rover.co.uk/Log%20Rover%20in%20use/slides/2012-05-19%20157.JPG[/img]
and not long after, the rabbits had a larch-clad cover on their
       run:

it will probably shrink and split a bit having used it green,
but thats fine for this job. Will leave the thicker lengths in
the garage to dry out a bit before using for a garden bench.
       a good day :smile1
more pics from today on the logrover site.

Has LogRover got more than one fuel tank or is the second filler
for hydraulic fluid for the tipper/splitter stuff??

thanks Mrs S, i'll probably enter this and a couple of others in
       the May POM then ..
we're in aberdeenshire, and those woods were in the grounds of a
country house where we've been lending a hand clearing up (in
       return for the wood).

nat, one filler is for petrol (to a homebuilt 5 gallon tank
behind the cab), and the other filler is for LPG (hose fitting
mounting inside the petrol neck) with the tank under the drivers
seat. Hydraulic fluid is in another tank mounted under the
passenger seat. as you can see, i was running out of space...
lots of pics of all this on the logrover site, but here's one:
