Hello.
Just found this forum after reading the "Perkins Prima
conversion" in my latest LR Monthly and thought thats the place
for me.
I'm relatively new to land rovers although have always wanted a
classic.
A couple of years ago I bought my first landy (which I wont
mention for fear of ridicule) but last august after moving into
my first house with a garage (took me 5 days to fill it!) became
the proud owner of "Jinxy" my Series 2a 2.25 diesel.
Tough times recently have made for tough decisions, but although
i had to say goodbye to my first landy love, I managed to
balance the books enough to keep Jinxy who is definitely my true
love.
She is in a bit of a state after being abused as a farmers play
thing, however I've slowly been removing the bodged repairs, and
crap modifications.
Here a pic of her when i got her, (big family moment) Ive
removed the front bars and roll bar since and am slowly trying
to put her back to original....which may take a while!
Anyway good to be here!

The one in the front seat leaning out i mean ....The rest is
just character 8) 8).

It's got leaf springs. It's worth doing right. Scrap a few bits
of shite, and carry on.....

Ditch the gay spokes, bull bar and side steps and you'll be well
on your way.
Both the passengers look happy though ;D
