       My 2a

       ---------------------------------------------------------
I thought since its a new forum then a new thread about my 2a ,
       but using old pictures ;)
So way back in the olden days , or 1998 , is when I bought my 2a
       unseen for £200

Rather amazingly £200 didn't buy much of a land rover , plenty
       of rust though
       [IMG]
  HTML http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/sheltiedave/strippingdown.jpg[/img]
A new glavy chassis helped the 2a live again , plus a shit load
       of other bits
       [IMG]

And in the summer of 1999, she was back on the road with dubious
       wheels :-\
       [IMG]
  HTML http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/sheltiedave/muddy.jpg[/img]
Then a few years later , I got bored with the " what I could
find at the time" paintwork and started on a change ,also got
       some right rims too
       [IMG]
  HTML http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/sheltiedave/this.jpg[/img]
Went for a more classic look with better side panels
       [IMG]

       Even ponies recognise shite wheels
       [IMG]

But after a while I decided to try and drive past petrol
stations by fitting a very noisy TDi from a dead defender
       [IMG]

And once again back to sensible wheels 8)

Had a nerly shat myself moment when a passing car through up
some stones from the road !

Just used for pottering about nowadays , still not sure about
the truck cab . It's good because it stop dragging shite around
because it will get wet , but when you need to drag shite about
       , it gets wet :-\
But thats it for now , rear shocks are making weird noises and
needs looking at , plus the usual maintance needs caught up on
       !!
