       COW3 - pics n that
By: Dave Date: April 22, 2012, 3:10 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Just got back so I thought I may as well kick off a new thread
       and post some pics.
I nearly didn't make it though. The 88 ran out of electricity on
the way and the AA lent me some to get home but then I got a
flat tyre! So I loaded everything into the 109 and that too was
out of electricity. After a lot of shouting and swearing I found
my jump leads and borrowed some electricity from my van.
Fortunately the 109 managed to make its own electricity after
that and I did get there - eventually.

It were a good do. I was making good speed to beat the tide on
the run down on Friday evening and my exhaust disintegrated, I
pressed on and made the crossing. The truck was a bit noisy
though so thanks to Paul (HHH) for giving me a shotgun ride on
the lanes on Saturday. Happy Valley was a bit exciting with some
deterioration of the track since last year, the views were
spectacular and the weather good. The catering was excellent and
thanks are due to Ian, Tracy and Vinny. My journey home was
slower than usual but I survived thanks to some earplugs and
stops to let the CO out.

Fantastic weekend, pity you missed the laning on Saturday and
Sunday Dave as it and the views were excellent and all noted for
next COW (should there be one) or any other visit ;)
Big thanks to Ian, Tracey and Vinny for sorting event, catering
etc and also Allan and Pete for putting up with my driving and
       navigating for the laning group.
The foraging for wood was eventful but I'm sure Simon will
explain all and provide pics, it's just a pity our resident
[s]pyromaniac[/s] fire marshal couldn't manage to burn it all
       ;D
Need a few days rest now at work to get over it.
Waiting for more pics and video.

Well I was in the area..... had a wedding to go to ... and a
bloody good one at that. Went to Anglesey, and visited Red Wharf
Bay. VERY quiet. Saw Chippers and Microchip on the way up.....
hope they had a good time.
