54'86" master cylinder

does anyone know the bore and stroke of a 54 s1 single circuit
brake master cyl by any chance I'm lookin to make a bit of a
conversion adaption on my old girl

Cant help, with the bore and stroke but....
changed mine over to a series 2 MC using a conversion plate to
change form 3 to 2 bolts- pretty easy and much easier for
finding spares.

Radfords supply a converson kit so you can use a later S2 MC -
about £35 squids I think.

Just another thought, if you have your old MC, you can get it
resleeved in stainless by www.pastparts.co.uk (NB - it won't
come back all shiney like the one in the picture though!)

I don't have an old master cylinder :-( I was thinking about
adapting a ap race type master cylinder as they are more freely
available and as yet I have a chassis outrigger with no hole
