Roof Seals

The rear window in my tilt has craked so I'm going to go back to
my hardtop. The seals for between roof and side panels cost a
disproprtionate amount. What else have people used ? I don't
really want to Sikaflex them together.

Dum dum should seal it allan ....flexible AND easy to separate
if needed in the future UNLIKE Sikaflex

On my series 1 I bolted them together with what was left of the
old seals and then ran a bead of clear silicone around.

Good idea. Didn't think of that. And I have some left over from
my door reglaze.

I've at least a kilo and half of Dum Dum in various places
around mine, it truly is the greatest complimentary Land Rover
substance known to man.
