I've found a pic of one of my motors back in the day.

Not quite the whole of my motor but that passenger side door is
now the passenger side door on my 88. In fact it has been for
about 4 years. I owned the TACR in the pic, although it didn't
look quite like that at the time and broke it for parts but kept
the door. ;D

It's one year and two days since I started this thread on this
new forum. I think it's an appropriate time to post my Land
Rover New Year resolutions. This year I will do the following:
1) Wire in the passenger side heated screen.
2) Fit the air horns that I have recently purchased.
3) Complete the halogen headlight conversion, using the lights
that I was given for xmas.
4) Fit some kind of insulation in the roof.
5) Re-fit the seatbelts.
6) Do something about fitting an internal roll bar.
I'll try my best to do 1 to 5 but although I'd like to do 6 I
expect it'll pass by again.

He's probably more likely to be looking for a sausage roll bar.

That's a bit :gay: is that, Hazza. I'm thinking of something
that goes through the tub and bolts to the chassis and has
bracing so that it doesn't bend back if the worst happens.

2) Fit the air horns that I have recently purchased. FITTED BUT
NOT WORKING (buggered horn button)

To add to the list of stuff to do:
Fix brakes.
Fix doors (don't shut properly)
Rewire CB cos it doesn't work anymore.
GET AN MOT (expires in 10 days time)
Looks like I'm going to be landyless cos I either haven't got
the time or have the arsedness and when I do have time and
arsedness the fucking British weather pisses on my chips.
:smiley-furious:
I'm considering selling it because it's becoming a drain on my
time and arsedness.

I thought you grim Northerners were made of tougher stuff than
that. :gay: Get a grip and man the fuck up!
Spare a thought for the rest of us with family, kids, full time
jobs, house and garden to maintain....... We still manage to
keep our motors on the road.
Yours, spent last night lying under a leafer in the drizzle
changing a steering relay seal for MOT!
