Yep ^
I've found a pic of the other TACR1. I bought this one off of
ebay, completely unseen. It had 1-ton rims and 9.00s but they
had been removed and I'd sold them to Allan by the time this pic
was taken.
The initial idea was that Phil Gregson and I were going to
rebuild it into a night-laning machine, fit infra red lights and
we'd drive it wearing night vision goggles. ;D We never did
anything with it and we were both struck down by a severe bout
of CBA. I did get my money's worth out of it though. I took
various parts off for re-use and I've still got one door on my
88. I sold the "rare" one-ton gearbox out of it for the £70 that
I'd paid for the motor and Phil sold the chassis to someone who
was going to use it to make a 100" off-roader or something
equally gay.

Only changed hands once, to Ginger Neil. Currently undergoing a
long term engine swap to 3.9 V8 and auto....
Played a starring role in getting Drew's new chassis from
Britpart HQ to France.

Still with the ginger one. i will give him a hand to rebuild
when i get some free time. Also payed a role in getting my 80
inch chassis home to!

Now has a 'rather modifed' bulkhead - should be back soon
enough.

No, that engine came out of the limestone 109 earlier in this
thread.
Today with the road maggot in tow.

This summer I am determined to give this motor some proper
attention.
I want to replace the seats, replace the road springs, plate
over the hole behind the seats that I put there when I converted
it to a camper, and buy and fit some proper number plates. I'd
like a pair of the type with a black background and white raised
plastic letters cos everyone has those pressed metal ones.
Mechanically it needs a new front prop and the brakes adjusting
so they'll be the first things to get some attention, WICBA, of
course.

That'll be a bloody first for you...... Normally you sit round
drinking tea and eating pies while other people do the
graft...... Or am I not allowed to say that?

Dunno. I'm one of those people who are quite happy to have a
caravan but have no idea how it works.
