Good news, - would you like a few dancing bananas to celebrate
       the fact? :rolleye0012:

It didn't rain and it got a ticket with no advisories. Happy
       days.
       [/quote]
When I say no advisories I mean none on the sheet. When he put
it on the rollers and did the brake test it showed up an oval
drum on the front O/S. I've got a pair of new drums to fit this
weekend and they're not shitpart. They're Allmakes (whoever they
are?) and have a 2-year warranty, or at least it says so on the
box. What that covers is anyone's guess...

The brake drums now have only around 18 months warranty but the
lack of wear on them is phenomenal! But being that they're still
in their boxes that's to be expected. I still haven't wired up
the passenger side heated screen or any of the other jobs that I
       was supposed to do.
In addition to that the rearmost exhaust bracket has broken at
the weld on the pipe. It's been like that since September.
I might see if I can be arsed to get it fixed before the
post-xmas laning. I might even drain the lakes out of the
       footwells too.
I'm off down to Worcestershire in it at the weekend so fingers
crossed it all holds together. >Htlr<
I think it's got fuel in but the gauge has gone on strike in
sympathy with the temperature gauge. :-\

Soon be Chrimbo, time to catch up on all those little jobs we've
       all been putting off.

Well, if it doesn't rain tomorrow, I will fit the brake drums
and, hopefully, attend to a couple of other jobs for the MOT.
Then, I'm thinking it's time for a repaint...

Virtual arsedness. ;D The real thing is still subject to
rationing. To be honest, I haven't a clue how to go about
painting such a colour scheme. It's not just a case of loads of
masking tape but one of how to repeat the pattern. They're not
       just random shapes, y'see.
