A very sorry for itself series thee dormobile. It might well
find itself on the galv chassis intended for my blue 109 pick up
with the series 2a 1965 bulkhead
A longer term project :smile1

Youre getting quite a collection now Alex. Looks like it will be
a nice motor with a bit of tlc.

I think it must be something in the water that carawagons and
dormobiles produce (recycled??). I had no intentions of getting
another, let alone one as knackered as this. Robin has too many,
Mick is shortly to have another, Graham (in Scotland has
three!).
On the plus side, I have the galv 109 sw chassis (John E kindly
welded on some bits to take a rear pick up tub that I can now
grind off!), sat on decent 109 / 6 pot axles, a brand new wiring
loom to go in, re furbed 2a bulkhead, spare 200 tdi (b'aht turbo
at the moment), 2 mil doors with anti burst and slidey windows.
But a long list of things to get, including 2nd row doors,
motivation, etc.
Keep me out of mischief. LATP 2013 mebbe?

ok - then the dormobile isn`t as far away from completion as
suggested - carry on - will be a nice motor - always wanted one
but they are very rare here in central Europe!

I reckon a 'workshop day' and it'll be done - LATP 2012! rofl
What's wrong with the second row doors? I repaired Patrick's
where the frames had rotted through (by making frame sections -
then found out repair sections were available :confused:).
