       hi folks
just taken of the flywheel to clean up inside of flywheel
housing as it looked a bit black before i fit new cutch and then
engine back into chassis when i noticed that there is a small
oil leak coming from behind the flywheel mounting /crank shaft .
is this the crank shaft oil seal going or is this
normal/aceptibale . if it is the crakshaft oil seal that needs
to be relaced . how do i do it and how easy is it .
in the mean time iam going to clean every thing up wile i get
       the chance
       cheers

       Sounds like the crank seal,
Its not normal, is it accepatable - only you can decide if you
are prepared to risk it leaking more and wrecking the clutch and
needing to engine or gearbox out to fix, against to costs and
time while you are there. On the other hand it may not get worse
for years ...how good are you at gambling?
       I would change it
As to how - depends if its a 3 or 5 bearing engine. But to be
honest you need a manaul to work with if your going to do it.
Fiddly job on a 3brg engine, but not realy difficult. Most of
the work is getting to it, which you have done now
