Win Hill Pike, Peak District

Well today I had a great drive out to the top of Win Hill Pike,
which overlooks Ladybower res and the Hope Valley on the other
side. It isn't a greenlane, before everyone decides to head up
there and try it for themselves... we got permission off the
landowner to use it for access. I was doing a bit of a delivery
job; taking a generator, an aerial mast and associated radio
equipment up there for tonight's High Peak Marathon (which runs
everyyear) Fantastic track, all to myself and not spoilt by too
much use (farmer does use it with his tractor, so in places
where there are ruts it is annoyingly wide-tracked!). Great
views!
Even better, I'm going up again tomorrow to take the kit down
and bring it off the hill again 8)

Cheers chaps, went up again yesterday. It had rained in the
night and morning, so was a bit slippy in places, with some poor
drainage on the top. Lovely weather though!

Some fantastic photographs there as per the norm from you Mr.
Calum. I'll also be round that way next weekend, hopefully the
weather will be similar if not better. 8)
