Copied from the S1 club site:
Hello, my name is Kim, I work for the National Trust at
Woolsthorpe Manor (birthplace of Isaac Newton). I am organising
a picnic event on Sunday 3rd of June to celebrate the Queen’s
Diamond Jubilee, entitled “Best of British”.
I am inviting owners clubs of British manufactured cars to visit
our small but perfectly formed property, take Sunday drive to
Woolsthorpe, enjoy a wander around the Isaac’s home and show off
their British Built car to our visitors.
Do you think any local Land Rover enthusiasts would be
interested in spending an afternoon with us? There will be
       cake……
I would love to hear from you.

       Kim

Being a young National Trust supporter and member, I would be
very tempted indeed to attend... since all of my vehicles
qualify being British; I would need a very good excuse not to
attend (other than being skint or asked to work...)

Bad timing for some on here...Birmabright Weekend in Czech
       Republic.
However, I doubt the NT would take too kindly to OLLR'ers
monging around in this part of Lincolnshire...Jan positively
       welcomes the idea ;D
I would like to see some old Newtonian museumage though, if they
have such stuff there. Great man!

Not sure if Birmabright Weekend will be the correct manner in
which to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee, although the truth
behind some of Newton's laws of physics will be demonstrated in
Kutna Hora on that date, such as beer flowing free down the
throats of participants, helped by gravity 8)

And some people will get the beer to defy gravity by throwing it
back up after having too much!
