Last Sunday, The Boar got his yearly bath...
After some not unimportant off-road trips, The Boar needed a
good power wash. Besides, The Boar has some Ashtree bling-bling
stuff waiting besides a 2.5 petrol and a new chassis... So, the
       preparation has been initiated...
How handy is a skid steer loader!

Nice Landy great to see then still being used.
What diff locks have you got? Are they front and rear? and where
did the stronger half shaft come from as I want to put diff
locks in mine but can not find the shafts.

Both rear and front axle have an ARB air locker (10 splines),
'powered' by an ARB compressor. I was able to put my hands on a
unused 'older' ARB locker from somebody who bought years ago by
accident a 10 splines one while he needed a 24 slines diff...
The other one and the compressor was sourced from Paddock (I've
learned in the meanwhile Devon 4x4 is slightly cheaper) last
year, when it was very interesting for us continentals to buy in
the UK (15% VAT and very interesting exchange rate).
The halfshafts are the standard/original ones. There is no need
to put stronger halfshafts with lockable diffs in a Series with
max 69BHP (unless you changed the orginal engine with e.g. a V8
3.9EFI or so). With the lockers, you drive much more relax off
road, as you don't have to build up momentum to get over/trough
'challenging' grounds... You'll probably break easier a
halfshaft by off roading without than with a locked diff!

I have got an ARB in the back of the 110 and it is great, how
       much differents it can make.
I will need stronger half shafts as I am running a Tdi. I can
get rear ones made but nobody can make front ones in the UK.
They are made is the USA but are a lot of money.
Have you got any you tube clips of it with all the diff locked
       up?
       Love the new roof.

Hmm, dont forget by fitting stronger half shafts you move the
weak spot in the transmission - back of the transfer box I
belive to be the next place to go pop. Personally I would keep
the weaker series shafts as then you know where they are going
to break and can be easily replaced. I used to know a chap who
put a very small cut in the shaft at the hub end, done a fair
amount of off roading, didnt break many but they always went at
the same place, bit of fail safe you see.
