That's quite cool. But what's that cylinder on the wing? Is it
like an external air filter?

Indeed, external donaldson air filter, replacing the oil batch
filter. On the 'platform' of the oil bath filter sits now my
compressor for the airlockers...

Da thing is engineered to be a workhorse, I make it work like a
workhorse!
The Boar has been used for pulling down barns, winching my 3 ton
skidsteer loader when that one failed to go back in his stable
on his own forces, winching up to 2nd and 3rd floor of loads for
which I am too lazy to do it myself, pulling out stuck lorries
from my centre court yard, giving my neighbour's tractor a quick
pull with the kinetic cord when he's stuck while plowing, etc...
And once in a while, The Boar is allowed to do some
'greenlaning', but only on Sunday's... :D :D :D

Smart looking beasty, I'm very much liking this!! What did the
wing top filter come from originally?? Been thinking of doing
something similar and even more convinced now I've seen it done
and it looks good. :)

It came of a...
...German leaf sprung Landie...
I've been told that it was an option in South-Africa back in the
sixties... Correct or not, dunno... Found it cool looking, an
Oklahoma BBQ on the wing :D

Used and abused ;D
A winch on the back... did ponder the possiblites myself - then
found on ebay a rear driven drum winch, but a bit over kill for
my own motor.
