Checking in.

New member and long time owner, sort of ? :giddy:
Just wondering what it all about and asking the question.
If a poster asks for advice how many tell you if they solved an
issue ?

Welcome to the forum.
It’s very quiet around here nowadays, but you may still get
answers to your questions by the few that still log on.
Unfortunately, many posters don’t inform others when they’ve
resolved their issues, but that’s just the way it is.🤔
Anyroad, enjoy the form, there’s loads of technical stuff on
here to wade through. (And plenty of old rubbish too.😂)
Do you have a rough location? - There may be others near
you.👍

Hi, thanks for the welcome.
I don't often do it straight away but on other forums I will
always try and end a thread if I asked question.
Rough location ? No it's not so bad.
Liverpool 😀

Ah, my late Brother-in-law was from Kirby-Muxlowe and I did some
delivering to printers around the area.
Oh, and the National Space Centre is worth a visit. Strange day
that. Loads of signs from M-way, they then disapeared as you got
close. Just when they needed ! :-?

A) We know is as Kirby Muckhole.
B) I worked in printing for 30+ years in Leicester, could have
signed one of your delivery notes.😂😂😂

I would deliver clean and remove dirty print wipes.
It was a DIRTY job. And not in a good way ! 😉
I remember when Leicester won the cup, I asked at the Mercury
did they have any copies of the edition featuring the story.
Nope, all gone. Talk about tomorrows chip paper ! 🙄

Our wipes were grey rags, about a foot square, they came in
clear plastic sacks tied at the top.
We bagged up the dirty ones for collection.
I think I had more clean rags in my garage than they had at
work...😂😂😂

rags ! How very dare you ? Print wipes I wil have you know.
😁
Ha, yes they did come in handy. I delivered them in red bin bags
and took the dirty away in red wheelie bins.
If the bin wasn't full I would scoop them out of other bins to
fill them up and save moving to many bins.
Hence I would go home with ink up my arms and across my front,
it just soaked through. 🙄😠
