Station wagon interior lamp

SIII How is the interior lamp wired? I'm thinking it feeds from
the head lamp switch to the panel lamps switch, I'm not sure
which pins to use on the switches.

My 1967 2A has a redundant purple wire that ends behind the dash
if it helps. Wiring diagram states interior light.
I only came across it when I had the dash out to wire in my
heated screens.

I think purple goes to the indicator stalk.
