My new chapter..

Hello Eeveryone!
I just wanted to settle down and write a note to explain My
absence as of late.
I've been spending a lot of time rethinking My life.. My r/t
life.. Only to come to the conclusion that it's time I do
something new.. I've owned a small restaurant for the past 17
years.. Will likely be 18 by the time I get done.. but.. I've
decided to turn a new leaf and do something new.. I've been
listening to locals.. and since I live in a very small
community.. it's a god idea to listen to the small social media
networking areas to see what people are looking for.. needing..
what could work and what might not... The restaurant business in
the area is past decline.. it's near dead and it's very
unfortunate.. with My overhead and such it's time.. or soon will
be.. to move on... so.. as I've listened and learned.. taken
ideas into account.. I've pondered things such as cake
decorating.. elder care.. the list goes on.. but in the end I've
decided to open a pet grooming salon..
I think.. hope and pray.. that it's the best decision I could
have made.. with My age.. and well My lack of desire to be an
"employee".. simply because I've not had a boss in over 2o
years.. I don't know if I remember how! ha!.. In My mind I've
kicked around the idea of being able to just "clock out and go
home".. That's not seemingly My style.. So.. I've closed My
restaurant on Mondays.. We've almost always been closed on
Tuesdays... which is why I have been able to spend part of My
day off in the home with Y/you.. Unfortunately.. the added "day
off" isn't going to allow Me free time... It's going to become
My Salon days.. I'm planning to work Myself into a full work
load of a client listing and look much forward to doing so as I
phase Myself out of restaurant life..
My research and talking with My "mentor" of sorts has Me
convinced that this venture will pay off wildly.. I've always
been an animal lover and I can groom near any species with hair
or fur.. I've just got a lot of practice to do to get each breed
down to what each pooch's parent might wish to see on each fur
baby..
SO... needless to say.. in all the remodeling.. running to
purchase supplies and equipment.. etc etc.. I've been
exhausted.. getting to bed by 10 pm.. and oddly enough waking
around 6 AM.. SO totally not Me!!.. I've always been a night
owl.. but suddenly all this excitement has Me bounding out of
bed early.. getting to My shop before going to work.. then
coming back to My shop after work and not coming home til about
8 pm.. doing dinner and crashing seemingly not too terribly long
after...
In the end.. I MISS YOU ALL!... I just need to get settled into
My new life.. My new schedule.. and get Mah night owl self back
HOME more often!!! I'm sure it will work out at some point..
hopefully sooner than later..

Love You Mama! Take the time you need. I am soooo 'cited for
you! my r/t is also really busy right now and i haven't been
been on much either. I am sure we will all see more of each
other in the near future.
