AUCTION ROUND ONE RESULTS
26 teams could have bid in this round but only 17 actually did.
We'll start with the Enhancements and it probably wont surprise
managers to know that they were all won with 1st choice bids.
But which teams?
20% Minutes for your squad
Well, well, well. Only ONE team actually bid on this one. Rael
Nerrad were that team and so they get them for the great price
of £51m!
10% Minutes for your squad
Again only a single bid. The winners, bidding £76m are Golden
Eagles FC.
8 seconds for your squad
Helsinki were the early leaders and the only other team to bid
was Reykjavik. One team bid £41m and the other bid £47m. The
winning bidders were Reykjavik Reapers.
2800 abs to add to your players
One of the more popular enhancements. 4 teams wanted this one.
This was Darlington's 3rd choice and their bid of £50m was the
lowest and wasn't higher than the minimum bid anyway. This was
Arctic's 3rd choice also and their offer of £98m wasn't high
enough either. That leaves two, Dusseldorf and Sarnians.
Sarnians 1st choice bid was £207m leaving them to battle it out
with Dusseldorf. As it happens it wasn't much of a battle as
Dusseldorf offered £109m, nearly £100m less which means that
Sarnians win the 2800abs.
1800 abs to add to your players
Two teams were after this. Kyushu made this their first choice
and bid £187m but Sunset made this their 3rd choice. As it
happens this 3rd choice bid wasn't needed (oh, sorry, Spoiler
Alert) and wouldn't have won anyway as it was for £98m
Onto the goalkeepers next.
Franklin Halo, Gorge Javas and Zaylie Oullo received no bids and
go into round 2.
KEITH SLYTHGO
Sarninas were the only bidders but their 3rd choice bid wasn't
needed. Slythgo enters round 2
UTOPIA TOPPOV
Only a single bidder for Utopia and that was Manchester United.
They get their first choice for £50m
Lets skip to the forwards now.
DYSTO CYENTRE
The best forward in the auction attracted one bid. Delhi Cobras
get their first choice paying £172m
JESTER TOTOLU
Two bids received. Cockney Cockrells were the initial bidders
and offered £97m but beating them in the last few hours of the
auction by £1m was Pompey Chimes.
TRISTIAN MIMS
Only one bid was made for Mr Mims and that was from Gyergyoi FC.
They pay £53m and get their first choice.
TY BRADSHAW
Dusseldorf missed out with their first bid and made a 2nd choice
bid for Ty but their £29m offer was better by £10m. Cockney
Cockrells were the highest bidders but their 3rd choice bid is
ignored and the player will join DUsseldorf Dragons.
So onto the midfielders.
VITOR IENKO
The best player in the auction received no bids at all.
CAMERON HART
Helsinki were the lowest bidders with £52m with Sunset next with
£88m. Darlington and Cockney made him their first choice and
both offered the same amount, £107m although the highest bidders
offered £172m. That high bid was made by Delhi Cobras and having
won a player already their bid is ignored. That means Darlington
and Cockney are tied but as Cockney were the team that bid 1st
they win the player.
STEPH DENKE
There were 3 bids with only £3m separating all 3. Gyergyoi
offerd £52m but having got a player already that bid is ignored.
Cartagena offered £50m but as that doesn't beat the minimum
offer that bid is void. That leaves Helsinki as the only team
left so they win the player. It turns out that they were the
highest bidders anyway and pay £53m
LOUAM HILLTO
Cartagena Corsairs were the highest bidders and win the player
with a bid of £51m
All the other midfielders go into round 2.
Reykjavik made offers for Yudelay Hakim and Maki Yosakka that
also weren't needed.
IAIN MCDONALD
Nerrad offered £63m but that bid is void. Darlington made an
offer £68m having just missed out on Cameron Hartand that bid
was enough to beat Arctics bid of £64m.
We'll deal with the defenders now.
JUSTIN AYMES
We've just seen Arctic miss out on a forward but their first
choice was Justin. They came in with a bid of £87m. It was
higher than Pompey's £77m ofer which would've been ignored
anyway. The other bidders were Thames Ironworks but their £60m
offer was never going to be enough.
DEVON JONEST
Thames Ironworks had another chance to win with a bid of £60m
although that bid was beaten by Nerrad but having won something
already that bid is voided, meaning that the player is off to
Sunset as they were the highest bidders with an offer of £78m
RICHARD JONES
This was Thames Ironworks last chance to win something in round
1. As it happens their 2nd choice bid of £60m was enough as they
were the only bidders.
All other defenders go unsold and move into round 2.
