With this natch like all the others facing a delay to the kick
off. the tension could be felt in the air around the Oyabun
Arena. Wether it was from the fans, players or staff it was just
something that felt thick in the air.
As suspected the game was a tougher affair than the positions on
eth table would have you expect it to be. The home side (YAKUZa)
had the better of the possession and attempts on goal but it
took the substitute, Nakamoto to steal away all the points on
the 88th minute to give the home a victory they might have
thought they deserved but I'm also sure the away management team
might have left thinking the deserved something too.
Next up is the commencement of the second cup of the season
where we face the team second in the league, Yerevan Stealth.

Yerevan Stealth 4 - 1 Pompey Chimes
We got our second victory of the season against Pompey, but this
time by a greater margin that we didn't expect. It was really a
quite convincing display which sees us continue to push at the
right end of the table.
Goals were scored by Virgil Clay (2), Ivanildo Ze & defender
Kuzman Jodi, with only one of those coming in the second half.
We were in control at the break and never really looked like
letting it slip so are delighted with the performance and
result.
We have a few players who now look a bit jaded and in need of a
rest but the games come thick and fast and we'll need to be on
our game in the cup this week, so may still have to play players
that would usually get a game off. With the game being against
the best team in the game at the minute in Kyushu Yakuza we are
going to have to think long and hard about the team selection
for this one.
