Kyushu Yakuza 4 - 1 Pompey
Chimes
Going into this game we faced our first mini crisis, with young
Kabo Daishi out with injury for 4 weeks and Leda Cygnus one of
our star youngsters suspended after a red card in the last
match. During the week we took a dip into the transfer market
purchasing, Nakamoto for the worldly price of 38 million, we
thought this was a bit steep but we where considering the player
before our mini crisis. So Nakamoto was brought in and started
today straight away. The YAKUZA dominated the game and if we
where to be brutal with our appraisal we where not clinical
enough with only scoring four from our 31 attempts, but overall
we where very happy with the result and it puts us into first
place in the league for the first time this season. Next up we
go back into the cup so expect some personnel changes.

very happy with the win we scored 4 goals before the half hour
with 4 different scorers would of preferred a clean sheet but
the main aim was 3 points as we start to find some form as we
sit in 3rd place

Rael Nerrad 3 - 4 Yerevan Stealth
What an incredible game this was although probably not so much
for the home fans after we got out of jail and snatched the
three points. Rael took the lead in the 15th minute but we hit
back immediately after Virgil Clay spotted player manager Lear
off his line and scored direct from the kick-off to make it 1-1.
Nerrad then scored a quick fire double so with less than 20
minutes on the clock we found ourselves 3-1 down and fighting an
uphill struggle to even salvage a draw. We lost Azarian through
injury between the goals and whilst Zakoyan pulled one back
before the break we lost another midfielder in Oniani who was
shown a straight red card for an innocuous challenge.
Half way through the second half and with only 10 men we managed
to draw ourselves level, with defender Jodi chipping Lear from
distance, who was having a mare in goal (perhaps he should stick
to management?) - the crowd going wild as the players celebrated
by running around the goalscorers shirt.
The game looked like it was going to fizzle out in to a draw
when up popped substitute Dario Onio to snatch a dramatic last
gasp winner - the final whistle sounding as soon as the restart
took place.
Nerrad were definitely the better side, a draw wouldn't have
been too unfair but somehow we managed to rob all points from
their grasp and have the honour of having scored 8 goals against
them in our two victories so far this season. Happy to move up
in to fourth place in the league but early days and we now need
to contend with two midfielders being unavailable for our next
match.
